Rescatan a 37 naúfragos en Colombia

COLOMBIA.- Las autoridades colombianas rescataron a 37 personas que viajaban en una embarcación que naufragó en el Golfo de Urabá, en el noroeste de Colombia, informó hoy la Armada Nacional de este país andino.
El accidente ocurrió en el sector Terrón de Azúcar, en el Golfo de Urabá, en el departamento de Chocó, en el noroccidente de Colombia, indicó la Armada Nacional, sin precisar cuándo ocurrió el naufragio.
La embarcación de nombre "Don Nico", que había zarpado con 37 personas del municipio de Turbo, Antioquia, con destino al corregimiento de Capurganá, municipio de Acandí, en el Chocó, naufragó a dos millas aproximadamente de su destino.
Según las investigaciones preliminares, el accidente se produjo "al parecer cuando uno de los motores se apagó y una ola golpeó la embarcación, provocando su hundimiento".
Unidades de la Armada Nacional y algunas lanchas de pesca que se encontraban en la zona rescataron del agua a los pasajeros de la embarcación, trasladándolos hasta el corregimiento de Capurganá.
